After Sybase DB restore below message showing

Use the ONLINE DATABASE command to bring this database online; ASE will not

Bring it online automatically

or

SAP application cannot connect to the Business Suite ASE.

[ASE Error SQL950][SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Database '<SID>' is currently offline. Please wait and try your command again later.

Reason:-

Database was loaded from backup, online database must be performed manually

Solution:-

Online the database from isql:

    isql -Usapsa -P<Password> -S<SID> -X

    1> online database <SID>
    2> go
