SAP Host Agent Upgrade

 Download the Latest SAP Host agent from SAP Software Center

• SUPPORT PACKAGES & PATCHES
• By Alphabetical Index (A-Z)

• SAP HOST AGENT

Select the Host agent version & download the OS depended Installation file , save to /tmp location

Check the host agent status

UNIX   - /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe

Windows  -  %ProgramFiles%\SAP\hostctrl\exe

saphostexec -status

Check the host agent  version before upgrade.

saphostexec -version 

Uncar the downloaded host agent SAR file to the \tmp directory

spacar -xvf HOST_AGENT_FILENAME.SAR

Upgrade the host agent from /tmp directory by using the command,

saphostexec -upgrade

 Host agent upgrade completed,

Check the host agent  version after upgrade.

UNIX   - /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe

Windows  -  %ProgramFiles%\SAP\hostctrl\exe

saphostexec -version
