How to take database backup in Sybase ASE

Database Backup commands :-

Login to Sybase Database as SYBSID user

> isql  -Usapsa -PXXX -SSID   -X
> go
> use master
> go
> dump database <SID> to "<directory> "
> go

Database backup with compress option:-

Login to Sybase Database as SYBSID user

> isql -Usapsa -PXXX -SSID -X
> go
> use master
> go
> dump database <SID> to "<directory>" with compress = 101
> go
